Broward College, formerly known as 'Broward Community College', offers Associate and Bachelor degrees as well as technical and occupational training in various certificate programs at many of its locations in the greater Fort Lauderdale and Broward County area. Broward College also offers online degrees, specialized programs in health sciences and continuing education, as well as. While very limited on-campus Student Services will resume January 11, 2021, please continue to use the Broward College QLess Kiosk or call 954-201-7350 for remote Admissions, Academic Advising, or Financial Aid assistance. Visiting campus for one of these services is not recommended and may result in longer than desired wait times.

Broward College is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is part of the Florida College System. It was originally founded in 1959 as Broward Community College, offering 2-year degrees. Broward changed its name in 2008 and began offering 4-year Bachelor’s degrees. In 2012 the Washington, DC-bases Aspen Institute listed Broward in the top 10 percent of community colleges in the United States.

Several of Broward’s degrees offer online learning options, but most online degrees and courses still require face-to-face interaction with an instructors. Broward does offer a few online degree programs that are entirely online.
